BIO

Meg Hartwig is a visual artist, educator, and justice activist living and working in Seattle, Washington. Hartwig was born and raised in the great Midwestern state of Michigan and is currently a fifteen year resident of the Emerald City.  She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics and Illustration in Michigan, a Post Baccalaureate in Ceramics from Louisiana State University, worked hard adventurously in between and through out, and in 2013 earned a Masters of Fine Arts, 3D4M, at the University of Washington.  Hartwig has been hammering away at all of her Sisyphean endeavors, creating and showing work nationally, and collaboratively running the small Design/Build nonprofit Sawhorse Revolution.
