Counting to Ten
Bricks made from scrapped clay, weeds, rope and matter within vicinity

Meg Hartwig and Stephanie Klausing collaborated to create a weighted manifestation of their past, present, and future, connecting seemingly intangible emotional and psychological weight to the weight of bricks, work, and time. Through this transformation, Hartwig and Klausing have reimagined the devotional object, talisman, or charm.

This collaboration is also uniquely personal to Hartwig's and Klausing's respective independent studio practices, making this exercise a sum of many parts.
