My life informs and creates my work ultimately.
I collect and dry seeds. I grow and eat my own food.
These works were created from plants that were started from seed, harvested, eaten, uprooted, and then preserved with intentional ritual and process- mummified with beeswax n' oil, rope, twine, cheesecloth, and scraps or refuse laying around. .
In material and process, context and content, Preserve Series is as multi-layered personally as it is in physical form.
